Diego Costa has been linked with a move to China
The 23-year-old's recall comes just hours after a reported bust-up between Antonio Conte and Diego Costa in training.
The Spain international reportedly clashed with Conte and a member of coaching staff and has been dropped for the game against Leicester.
Express Sport understands Costa has also had his head turned by a big-money offer from the Chinese Super League.
The 28-year-old is said to have been offered a £576,000-a-week contract by a Chinese club.
However, reports in Brazil claim the striker has no interest in pursuing a move to the Far East.
Bamford is yet to make a senior appearance for the Blues but has represented the Under-23s 19 times, scoring nine times.
