SUNDERLAND winger Jeremain Lens has suggested he wants the club to suffer relegation to the Championship.
Jeremain Lens hopes Sunderland get relegated
Sunderland spent £8million on the Holland international in the summer of 2015 but he struggled to hold onto a first-team spot last season.
The 29-year-old was sent out on loan to Fenerbahce in the summer and he's impressed so far this term with three goals and eight assists.

Lens hopes he can secure a permanent move to the Turkish giants at the end of the season - and believes his chances will be improved if Sunderland get relegated to the Championship.
David Moyes' Black Cats currently sit 18th in the Premier League table, one point from safety.

"I would like to stay for many years at Fenerbahce but it's not just for me to look at," the Dutchman said.
"I hope I could get a signature that will allow me to stay here.
"I do not want to talk about my contract, but many things will be easier if Sunderland drop down. Let's wait and see."
