I think when you look back at the players we have sold, I can't remember one of them going in January
Southampton have seen a whole handful of stars leave over the past few seasons, including Adam Lallana, Dejan Lovren and Sadio Mane.
But Le Tisser, who made 443 league appearances for Saints, thinks the club will keep hold of Van Dijk this month.
“I think so, I think when you look back at all the players we have sold, I can't remember one of them going in January,” Le Tissier told Sky Sports.
