James Rodriguez has been linked with a number of moves away from Real Madrid, including a switch to Chelsea, Juventus and the Chinese Super League.
The 25-year-old confirmed this month he would be staying at the Santiago Bernabeu for the foreseeable future.
And according to ConfidencialColombia, Rodriguez turned down a move to Stamford Bridge because of the advice of Cristiano Ronaldo.

The report says Chelsea made a £78million bid for the former Monaco midfielder which Rodriguez personally turned down.
The Colombia international was reportedly given some thinking time by Real to consider his future and the offers presented to him by other clubs.
However, he rejected them all in favour of staying because of the advice of former Manchester United star Ronaldo.
The 31-year-old is reportedly a close friend of Rodriguez and he advised him to stay put at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Rodriguez has made 18 appearances this season in all competitions, scoring four goals and providing 10 assists.
He is under contract with Real until June 2020.
