Arsenal have £50million bid for striker rejected by Serie A club
ARSENAL have had a £50million bid for Torino striker Andrea Belotti turned down, according to the Serie A club's sporting director.
Arsenal's Most Expensive Transfers
Arsenal are keen on landing a forward despite Olivier Giroud's impressive form and Danny Welbeck's return from injury.
The Gunners have predominantly used Alexis Sanchez up front but - with the Chile international yet to sign a new contract - his future is unclear.
Belotti recently signed a new deal with Torino which is said to contain a release clause of around £85million.

However, sporting director Gianluca Petrachi has now sensationally claimed that Arsenal have launched a £50m bid for the club's star asset.
"Yes, we received the offer, but it does not reflect the value of the player," Petrachi told Sky Italia when asked about Arsenal's interest.
"Anyway, he is going nowhere for now. We want to enjoy him, then we'll see what happens.

"We intend to keep Belotti and president Urbano Cairo signed this important buy-out clause. I think he's worth more than they have offered."
Belotti has scored 13 goals this season, with only Inter Milan star Mauro Icardi above him with 14.
The 23-year-old's league total is the same as Sanchez and five more than second-placed Theo Walcott.
