MANCHESTER UNITED will only let Memphis Depay leave the club on a permanent basis, according to reports.

The 22-year-old, who was hailed as the ‘new Cristiano Ronaldo’ when he joined Manchester United in 2015, has been frozen out of Jose Mourinho’s plans.
A January move has been touted for the Dutchman, with Everton admirers.
Mourinho is keen to carry out an overhaul of his squad this month, and Memphis looks set to be one of the losers.

Morgan Schneiderlin reportedly expects to join Everton
According to The Sun, Everton want to strike a deal with Memphis and originally thought they could land him on loan.
However, it is believed United will only sanction a permanent exit.
And they are hoping to recoup as much of the £25m they initially outlayed for him.

Meanwhile, Everton could submit an offer for Morgan Schneiderlin.
West Brom have already seen an £18million bid turned down.
Marseille have also expressed an interest, but it is suggested Schneiderlin has made his mind up.
It is believed he has told his team-mates he is confident he will head to Goodison Park.
