Luis Enrique looks set to leave Barcelona in the summer
Spanish outlet Don Balon have sensationally claimed that Barcelona want him to succeed Enrique at the end of the season.
Enrique is under pressure with Barcelona a far cry from their usual swashbuckling selves.
The Catalan giants are three points behind Real Madrid in the race for the La Liga title, but have lost twice while their fierce rivals have remained unbeaten.
Enrique oversaw Barca's Champions League triumph in 2015 but speculation is rife that the Spaniard could quit the Nou Camp in May.
Everton boss Ronald Koeman is a possible alternative
Klopp is on a wish list to succeed Enrique with Barcelona planning for life after his departure.
As well as the Liverpool manager, it is said that Everton boss Ronald Koeman is being eyed as an alternative.
Koeman spent six years at Barcelona as a player - winning the Champions League in 1992 - and could find the prospect of a return to Catalonia too good to turn down.
Jorge Sampaoli, Franck De Boer, Ernesto Valverde, Eusebio Sacristán and Thomas Tuchel have also been linked with the job.
