MANCHESTER UNITED star Wayne Rooney has a "little chance" of featuring against West Ham tomorrow, according to Jose Mourinho.

Rooney has been sidelined with a thigh injury since the 2-0 win over West Brom on December 17.
Manchester United have thrived in his absence, securing crucial wins against Sunderland and Middlesbrough at Old Trafford.
Mourinho's side go up against West Ham aiming to close the gap on fourth-placed Manchester City.

And the former Chelsea boss has revealed Rooney has a small chance of making the cut - and also confirmed Michael Carrick is expected to face his former club.
"I hope Carrick will be fit at West Ham," he said.
"I don't know. Rooney has a little chance and Michael has a bigger chance, let's see how he is."
Michael Carrick is expected to return against West Ham
Carrick is expected to return in place of Marouane Fellaini.
Fellaini impressed against Middlesbrough and Mourinho was full of praise for the Belgium international after the game.
"I'm really happy with Fellaini. I'm really happy with the way he played," he said.
