And the Spaniard has called for his City team to match Liverpool’s work rate.
“I don’t know what will happen,” Guardiola said. “We have to equal their intensity.
“Anfield is going to play a big role for them but what happened in the past stays in the past.

Having watched Liverpool at Anfield in their 4-1 win against Stoke, the City boss recognises the threat they pose in the title race.

Asked if it was a six pointer, Guardiola added: “There are six teams fighting for the title, for the first four positions fighting for the Champions League.
