Moyes revealed earlier today how Manchester United had a deal agreed to sign Bayern Munich's Toni Kroos in the summer of 2014.
”Toni Kroos was agreed to come in the summer. I had agreed it with Toni himself and his agent," Moyes said.
However, Moyes was sacked before he had the chance to push a deal over the line and Kroos consequently joined Real Madrid.
Moyes also revealed how his primary target was Gareth Bale, but again, Real Madrid beat them to his signature.

He added: "I felt all along that Gareth Bale was a Manchester United player. I fought right until the last minute.
"We actually offered a bigger deal than Real Madrid. But Gareth had his mind made up on going to Real Madrid.
“That was, in my mind, the player I really wanted to bring to Manchester United.”
