WEST BROM boss Tony Pulis has launched a late bid to hijack Ronald Koeman’s bid to reunite Morgan Schneiderlin this January.

Koeman wants to link up again with the out of favour Manchester United midfielder who he knows well from their time together at Southampton.
He has been speaking to United for the last couple of weeks in a bid to agree a deal for the French international, 27.

But Pulis will this week officially make a counter offer to bring Schneiderlin to West Brom who has struggled to reach the heights he hit at St Mary’s before moving to Old Trafford.
Jose Mourinho has made it clear that Schneiderlin doesn’t have a future at the club and hasn’t played since November 19th.

Ronald Koeman, who is also interested in signing Memphis Depay, has also asked about former England winger Ashley Young.
