And the Daily Mail claim the Italian has made Verratti his No 1 target as he looks for reinforcements who will be able to help Chelsea continue their fine form.
Verratti is under contract with PSG until 2021 and the French champions are holding out for £30million for the midfielder.
But Verratti's agent, Donato Di Campli, insisted in October the midfielder would be willing to leave PSG if they do not win any silverware this season.

And Chelsea are confident they can strike a deal with the Ligue 1 club for the 24-year-old.
The move for Verratti comes with Oscar set to leave Chelsea for Shanghai SIPG in a £52million deal.
The Brazilian has been rarely used under Conte this term, and is set to earn £400,000-a-week in China.
