Mesut Ozil took to Twitter this morning to confirm he will be representing the popular video game.
“From now on I'll also be making assists via the controller. Happy to be an @officialpes ambassador! @Konami @pesleague #PES2017,” Ozil tweeted.
Ozil started as Arsenal lost 2-1 to Everton on Tuesday, with defender Ashley Williams heading home a late winner.

And some fans were quick to lay into the Germany World Cup winner on Twitter following his Pro Evo news.
“Go practise shooting,” one said.
“And learn to track back too,” another added.
But some were more sympathetic, saying: “Congrats. KEEP your head up. Do not focus on negative comments or people. #firstneverfollows.”

Ozil has impressed for Arsenal this season, scoring nine goals in 21 appearances.
But the 28-year-old has left Gunners fans concerned with his current contract set to expire in 18 months time - and talks yet to see a breakthrough over a new deal.
Alexis Sanchez is also in a similar situation and there are fears at the Emirates that both players could end up leaving.
