ARSENAL stars clashed with their Everton counterparts at half-time tonight.

Arsenal took the lead at Goodison Park thanks to a deflected Alexis Sanchez free-kick before Seamus Coleman equalised with a header just before the break.
Tempers threatened to boil over with Mesut Ozil at the centre of things, whilst Everton coach Duncan Ferguson played peacemaker.
Police were visible as both sets of players tried to make their way down the tunnel at Goodison Park.

Mesut Ozil was at the centre of things as tempers flared at Goodison Park
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger held back midfielder Granit Xhaka while referee Mark Clattenburg and his linesmen were involed to help keep a lid of things.
Ozil looked particularly frustrated after exchanging words with James McCarthy following Everton’s equaliser.
Multiple players from both sides then came together and had to be separated - with Ferguson and Wenger keen to downplay the situation.
Ref Clattenburg did not hand out any cards during the melee.
