Agent confirms Chelsea target has £42m release clause: Reveals previous deal was close
CHELSEA target Marcelo Brozovic has a £42million release clause for non-Italian teams, his agent has revealed.
Arsene Wenger speaks on Chelsea's title chances
Chelsea are said to be interested in landing Brozovic in the January transfer window.
Blues manager Antonio Conte is looking to strengthen his squad in the New Year in order to maintain their push for the Premier League title.
They were linked with the 24-year-old in the summer along with Juventus - but no deal for the player was struck.
Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport claim the Inter midfielder could be offloaded next month, even though he has a contract at the San Siro until 2021.
And his agent Miroslav Bicanic told Calciomercato.com more details of his release clause.

He was closer to (joining) Juve than Chelsea
"Yes, I can confirm that there’s a valid clause for overseas teams of €50m (£42m)," Bicanic said.
"Marcelo is now focused on Inter and their results. He needed the renewal as a confirmation of his qualities.
“He was closer to (joining) Juve than Chelsea, but now we’re not thinking of the past. We’ll see what the future brings.”
