Manchester United confirm important Europa League change
MANCHESTER UNITED will not play their Europa League away clash in St Etienne on a Thursday, the club have confirmed.
Manchester United will play St Etienne in the Europa League in February
Manchester United were today drawn against French side St Etienne in the last-32 of the Europa League.
The first leg will be played on Thursday 16 February at Old Trafford.

But the reverse fixture has been moved to Wednesday 22 February - rather than the usual Thursday night slot - because of a fixture clash with St Etienne's local rivals Lyon.
Lyon will be hosting Dutch side AZ on the same night as United are in St Etienne, meaning the latter clash has to be rescheduled.

Manchester United were in the pot for the Europa League last-32
United had urged their fans not to book travel arrangements for the game until UEFA had confirmed the fixture date.
Jose Mourinho's men were drawn against St Etienne as one of the seeded teams in the last-32 round.
St Etienne secured progress to the knockout stage after beating Anderlecht 3-2 on Thursday.
They sit eighth in Ligue 1, having finished fifth in the French top flight last season.
