TOTTENHAM boss Mauricio Pochettino has revealed he often texts former Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson… but won’t be doing so ahead of Sunday's clash.
Mauricio Pochettino does not expect to hear from Sir Alex Ferguson ahead of the Man United game
Tottenham travel to Manchester United on Sunday (2.15pm) for a clash which could go some way to settling both side's top-four ambitions this season.
Mauricio Pochettino was linked with a move to United over the summer - a move which was fuelled when he was spotted at lunch with Sir Alex Ferguson.
However, despite them being friends, Pochettino has admitted he will not be texting Fergie ahead of Spurs' trip to Old Trafford.

"No, no I will not speak with him before the game," Pochettino said.
"My relationship with him was, I explain last season and yes, we cross some texts but my expectation is not to talk with him before the game."
A win for Spurs would see them leap-frog Manchester City into second place following their 4-2 defeat at Leicester.
Manchester United, meanwhile, are nine points adrift of fourth place, making Champions League qualification already a tall order.
United are on a run of three straight draws in the league and are struggling to get over the line in games.
Spurs head into the game off the back of a solid 5-0 win over Premier League strugglers Swansea last weekend.
