And Carragher thinks Mkhitaryan, who scored his first United goal in the 2-0 Europa League win over Zorya Luhansk, needs to show what the fuss is all about.
“It was interesting to see an interview with Mkhitaryan before United flew to Ukraine in which he blamed himself for his slow start to life in England and how he had taken on board what was required to be a success for United,” Carragher told the Daily Mail.
“There certainly can't be any disputing his talent.

“I remember how Brendan Rodgers was desperate to sign him for Liverpool from Shakhtar Donetsk in the summer of 2013 and he was devastated that he opted for Borussia Dortmund instead.

“Everything he has done over the past seven days bodes well for the future and Jose Mourinho could do with him turning it on again on Sunday against Tottenham.”
