Besides questioning Mourinho’s decision to hold onto leads, Redknapp has also been bemused by the Portuguese coach’s timing of substitutions.

“I’m not sure some of the decisions made by Jose Mourinho help, either,” Redknapp told Sky Sports.
“He has a great ability to win matches and we've seen that over the years.
“But his policy of looking to hold onto leads rather than increase them is back-firing at the moment.
“It's easy to say with hindsight, but when he brought on Marouane Fellaini late on against Everton last week you could see what was going to happen.

“Sir Alex Ferguson would rather push for another goal than sit back. That was the gambler in him.
“Jose isn't like that and would rather stick than roll the dice.
“But I think it's something that he has to change. It's what United are about.”
Manchester United warmed up for their game against Spurs with a 2-0 victory over Zorya Luhansk in the Europa League on Thursday night.
