Mourinho on penalty appeal: I don't want to talk about it
Tottenham and Manchester United play each other on Sunday (2.15pm) in a crucial game which could go some way to determining both side's top-four hopes.
A win for Spurs would take them level with fourth-placed Manchester City and defeat for United could extend their nine-point deficit.
However, despite the pressure riding on Sunday's game, Vertonghen still had kind words to say about United boss Jose Mourinho.

Jan Vertonghen heaped praise on Jose Mourinho for his managerial achievements
"He is a great coach first of all, and he has done great things with different teams," Vertonghen said.
"He has shown he is a very good coach and a colourful character – but football needs that.
"He is a good manager and he says things in the media. Does that wind me up? Not really.
"It's part of the job and he plays it the way he wants to."
United have struggled defensively this season and have been linked with a number of centre-backs in January including Jose Fonte and Virgil van Dyke.
