The Gunners' 5-1 victory over West Ham last weekend showed they could also last the distance in the Premier League.
But despite overcoming their normal November woes, Gunners legend Wright thinks there is one major flaw still afflicting his old club – their mental strength.
"November was worrying and going into November was worrying," Wright told BT Sport.
"They didn't play well in the Spurs game, the Man United game and the PSG game.

"Yes they beat Bournemouth, and they beat a very poor West Ham side - but I just think Arsenal aren't good enough now.
"It's the mental strength now, going into certain games, knowing what you're capable of doing and starting strong - that's what Arsenal lack."
Arsenal will learn of their last-16 opponents when the draw is made on Monday.
