Brendan Rodgers has no intention of leaving Celtic soon
And when quizzed by English reporters eager to know if Celtic was a temporary stop on the road back to the ‘big time’ down south, Rodgers gave a resounding reply.
He said: “I could have come back to the Premier League, but to be at Celtic is a huge privilege.
“I don’t see it as a stepping-stone. I see myself coaching for another 20-odd years and it is highly unlikely I will be at Celtic for another 20-odd years, given how football works.

“It has huge potential and although there are financial restrictions, I am absolutely loving it in Scotland and working with Celtic. I’m very fortunate.
“For me, I’m living the dream being the manager of Celtic. This is a huge privilege for me to manage this club.
