Lingard is a product of the Manchester United academy and has flitted in and out of the side since making his debut in 2014.
The 23-year-old is a popular figure around Old Trafford despite not quite hitting his stride under Jose Mourinho.
However, the Mirror claim that Lingard has snubbed a contract offer worth over £60,000 a week.

The report claims that while the player has no intentions of leaving, Lingard is holding out for a higher wage.
His advisors believe that given his rise, he should be rewarded with a bigger deal.
Lingard scored the winner for United in the FA Cup final against Crystal Palace under former boss Louis van Gaal in May.

And he made his England debut in October in a 2-0 World Cup qualifying win over Malta.
It is said that Lingard wants a similar wage to international team-mate Harry Kane, who signed a new Tottenham deal worth £100,000-a-week last month.
Lingard could be on the bench for United's clash with Everton this afternoon (4pm).
The 23-year-old has scored three times so far for the club this season - the same total as club captain Wayne Rooney.
