THIERRY HENRY has defended Gary Cahill after the Chelsea captain’s own goal gifted Manchester City the lead in the Blues' 3-1 win at the Etihad.
Manchester City v Chelsea in numbers
Man City took the lead when Jesus Navas put in a weak cross from the right which failed to beat the first man.
And Chelsea's Cahill then got his feet into a tangle and ended up volleying the ball over Thibaut Courtois and into the top left corner.

“Gary Cahill has to clear the ball with his left foot.
“If you clear that with his head it might have been a corner. But he has to clear it somewhere else than his goal.
“He’s very unfortunate if he had cleared that well we would have said what a clearance.”
