Giroud is short, but has a chance to be available for Saturday
The Spaniard hasn’t featured since October 19 when Arsenal turned over Ludogorets 6-0 in the Champions League.
And while Arsene Wenger hopes Giroud will be available for their trip to the London Stadium, he admits it’s still a waiting game as far as Cazorla in concerned.
He said: “Giroud is short, but has a chance to be available for Saturday.
Santi Cazorla has been out of action for over a month
“Cazorla I don’t know, honestly. It’s just inflammation. It can go in two days, two weeks - I don’t know.
“He has no setback, the inflammation is just still here. At the moment, it’s stable.”
There were concerns over Mohamed Elneny’s fitness last night too as the Egyptian was taken off shortly before half-time.
But Wenger put to bed any injury concerns, citing sickness as the reason for his early exit.
