The French boss is out of contract at the end of the season and talks are yet to take place on handing him a new deal.
Wenger celebrated 20 years at the north London outfit last month and Arsenal have made a good start in the league this year, as well as qualifying for the knockout stages of the Champions League.
And although Arsene Wenger could still be in line for a new deal depending on how Arsenal’s season pans out, chief executive Ivan Gazidis is reportedly considering his options.

And according to The Sun, Red Bull Leipzig coach Hasenhuttl tops his wishlist at the moment.
The Austrian is making headlines in the Bundesliga with his side currently top of the table, three points clear of champions Bayern Munich.
Prior to his appointment at Leipzig this year, Hasenhuttl had overseen promotions at German clubs Aalen and Ingolstadt.

And now at Leipzig, the 49-year-old is clearly enjoying life in Germany’s top flight with his side currently 12 games unbeaten, despite the club only being promoted this season.
The report suggests Gunners chiefs have been tracking Hasenhuttl for more than two years after being impressed with his tactical intelligence and ability to promote youth players into the first team.
Hasenhuttl has reportedly already told Arsenal of his interest in one day succeeding Wenger, although other German clubs are likely to be keen on his services.
Should Wenger leave at the end of the season, Arsenal are likely to offer him a role as director of football.
