Arsenal News: Midfielder deal eyed, Alaba to snub Manchester United, Wenger praises star
EXPRESS SPORT brings you the latest Arsenal news.
Arsenal vs Bournemouth - Premier League match preview
Arsene Wenger will offer Jack Wilshere a new contract at Arsenal after insisting he remains part of his plans.
Wilshere, whose contract at the Emirates expires in the summer of 2018, is currently on loan at Bournemouth and has been linked with a permanent move away from Arsenal.
But when asked if he plans to extend Wilshere's stay at the start of next year, Wenger said: "Yes, of course. That's not just to protect his [transfer] value.
"Ideally [it will be addressed before next summer]. We have to plan around the New Year.”

David Alaba would reportedly prefer to join Arsenal over Manchester United if he leaves Bayern Munich.
Express Sport understands United boss Jose Mourinho will target Alaba next summer as he looks to strengthen his defence, but the Manchester Evening News claim he would prefer to relocate to London if he was to move to the Premier League.
The Austria international's contract at Bayern expires in 2021, but standards under Carlo Ancelotti have started to slip and it is believed Arsenal are interested in bringing him to England.

Emiliano Martinez is in line to be Arsenal's No 1 goalkeeper in the future
Arsene Wenger believes Emiliano Martinez could one day be Arsenal's No 1 goalkeeper.
"I believe he is our goalkeeper No 3 at the moment, but he has the potential to become No 1, which is why we extended his contract," Wenger said.
"He's learned a lot for Petr Cech and David Ospina. He's a future goalkeeper at Arsenal. The problem with his job is you have to be patient."
