Atletico reportedly want to sign Thomas Lemar
According to the report, Atletico have earmarked Monaco winger Thomas Lemar is the perfect candidate to replace Griezmann.
It is said he would cost the La Liga club around £30million, with both Bayern Munich and Manchester City also keen on his services.
Atletico made a £17m bid for Lemar, 21, this summer but Monaco refused to do business with the Madrid side.
However, the report claims the France international is keen to leave Monaco for La Liga and could push for the deal to go through at the end of the season.
He scored the winner for Monaco in the 2-1 win over Tottenham on Tuesday.
As for Griezmann, he scored only his third goal in his last eight games for Atletico to help them to a 2-0 win over PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
