Arsenal are desperate to keep hold of Sanchez, who has 18 months left to run on his present deal.
However, talks over increasing his current £130,000-a-week pay packet have stalled.
And according to the Daily Mirror, Arsene Wenger has a contingency plan in place should a potential suitor snatch Sanchez.

The report suggests Wenger is monitoring Borussia Dortmund star Marco Reus, who is believed to be valued at £30m.
It is suggested Wenger is a huge fan of the Bundesliga star, who has just returned to action after a six-month lay-off from injury.
Sanchez is currently trying to push for a new deal worth in excess of £200,000 a week.

Meanwhile, his team-mates Hector Bellerin and Mesut Ozil are both believed to be close to penning contract extensions.
The forward, who hit a double in midweek in Chile’s 3-1 World Cup qualifier win over Uruguay, is in line to start against Manchester United tomorrow (12:30pm) at Old Trafford.
Arsenal could go top at least for a few hours should they overcome United.
