But when asked for his thoughts about the heavy loss to Chelsea, Koeman told BBC’s The Premier League Show: “I expect this, there is no day where I thought it will go all the season this way, it is not about all the positions in the table.
“At the moment we are the best of the rest, that is what we like to be now, not next season, not for the third season in the project.

“Of course I am disappointed about the 5-0 but we need to accept it and continue.”
Everton will look to get back to winning ways at home to Swansea on Saturday (3pm).
