Rooney and Bertrand missed England training this morning due to injury.
Manchester United star Rooney started England’s 3-0 World Cup qualifier victory over Scotland on Friday, struggling on his return to the fold after being dropped for the 0-0 draw in Slovenia.
But Rooney could be a doubt for England’s friendly with Spain tomorrow night (8pm) after sitting out training.

And 17-year-old Spurs midfielder Duncan was given a rare chance to train with Gareth Southgate’s senior squad because of Wayne Rooney and Bertrand pulling out.
England tweeted: “The #ThreeLions will train at @SpursOfficial's Enfield base today.
“@WayneRooney and @ryanbertrand3 miss the session due to minor issues.”

Interim England boss Gareth Southgate will provide an update on his players’ injuries at his pre-match press conference.
The 46-year-old will be without Tottenham striker Harry Kane for the final match of his temporary reign, having released him yesterday in a bid to aid his recovery from an ankle injury.
It meant 22 of the senior squad trained this morning, leading youngster Duncan to join and swell the numbers.
