Chris Smalling and Memphis Depay are targets for Inter Milan
Inter are ninth in Serie A and sacked Ronald De Boer at the start of the month following a poor start to the campaign.
And according to Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport, new boss Stefano Pioli is ready to bolster his squad in the January transfer window.
It is claimed Inter still maintain a good relationship with Mourinho following his spell as manager between 2008 and 2010.
As a result they believe Mourinho would be open to selling to them.

Pioli is said to be a fan of defender Darmian, who could be put up for transfer after being frozen out at the start of the season.
Depay has similarly struggled for regular minutes and is on a list of targets at the San Siro.
