LUKE SHAW is trying to do all he can to win back Jose Mourinho’s trust at Manchester United, according to reports.

The left-back declared himself unavailable for Manchester United’s 3-1 win over Swansea prior to the international break due to an injury.
Mourinho publicly criticised the 19-year-old and his team-mate Chris Smalling in the aftermath of the victory.
Recent reports suggested Shaw has confided to friends about his situation.

There were other claims last week that Liverpool were lining up a move, with Jurgen Klopp keen to strengthen at left-back slot with doubts persisting over Alberto Moreno.
And according to the Mail on Sunday, Shaw is keen to put his recent troubles behind him and resurrect his United career.
It is suggested he wants to win over Mourinho and hopefully be considered for Saturday’s clash against Arsenal at Old Trafford on Saturday (12.30pm).

He even posted a video of Twitter ahead of that game working out in the gym, in a bid to be fit in time for the crunch showdown.
However, it is believed he accepts he won’t be automatic first choice under Mourinho.
Shaw played a practice match against the Under-23s side on Friday at the club’s training ground base.
