However, Italian news outlet Corriere dello Sport claim Milan have now renewed their interest in the England international and are considering a permanent move for him next summer.

Wilshere has himself admitted that he might have to leave Arsenal for good in order to benefit his career.
"Of course I love Arsenal but, if there comes a time when I have to leave, then I have to leave," he told The Sun.

"It is difficult for me to say because of course I love Arsenal - I’ve had great times there and they have been great for me.
"And I can still see myself playing there as well but who knows what the future holds.
