Man United must give Mourinho time: Neville and Chelsea hero Drogba leap to boss’ defence
MANCHESTER UNITED boss Joe Mourinho has both Gary Neville and Didier Drogba on his side.
Mourinho wants to change the mentality of his players
The duo have handed their support to the under-fire Portuguese boss after his troubled start to life at Old Trafford.
Since his sacking at Chelsea last December, Mourinho’s spell at Manchester United has not run smoothly either.
The Red Devils sit sixth in the Premier League table, eight points off leaders Liverpool.
And plenty of issues have effected United’s season too, including an array of injuries and disciplinary action for Jose Mourinho.

It's going to take some time for United to get through this thing of sacking managers if they don't come in fourth
But Neville insists sacking the two-time Champions League winner if United fail to qualify for the Champions League would be the wrong move - despite handing David Moyes and Louis van Gaal the same punishment.
"It's going to take some time for United to get through this thing of sacking managers if they don't come in fourth," Neville said at the MEN Business of the Year Awards 2016.
"They have to really live with Mourinho now and hopefully it will work and he can get it right because we need some stability there.
Manchester United legend Gary Neville has watched his former side make yet another slow start
And the legendary Blues hitman also believes his former manager deserves time to install his own philosophy at Old Trafford.
“He’s not a has-been,” Drogba told RTL.
“I think that it’s a very big challenge for him. I think he has to take some time to build a team.”
Mourinho’s next big test at United comes against arch-rival Arsene Wenger when Arsenal visit after the international break.
