Arsenal ace Mesut Ozil proved this with stunning goal, claims Jamie Carragher
ARSENAL star Mesut Ozil proved he is finally worth £42.5m.
Mesut Ozil - 5 things you need to know
That is according to former Liverpool defender-turned-pundit Jamie Carragher.
Arsenal came from two goals down in midweek to beat Bulgarian outfit Ludogorets 3-2 in their Group A Champions League encounter.
Ozil completed the comeback in the 87th minute when he clipped the ball over the goalkeeper before rounding two defenders and slotting the ball into an unguarded net.

The German midfield maestro has now contributed seven goals in all competitions this term.
And Carragher is adamant Ozil’s strike showed his £42.5m price-tag is justified.
“Forget about the opposition, just marvel at the goal he scored against Ludogorets to complete Arsenal’s stunning comeback,” Carragher wrote in his column for the Daily Mail.

It was a moment befitting a £42.5million player
“People will ask ‘who was it against?’ and say the Ludogorets goalkeeper, Milan Borjan, was ‘Sunday League standard’.
“Well, even if he was Sunday League standard, to lob a keeper and pass the ball to yourself is a stunning piece of skill, but Ozil was not done.
“To then have the composure to let two defenders fly in on him — most defenders in the world would have done exactly the same to protect an open goal — but take another touch before rolling a shot in was magnificent.
