But he admits if it doesn't work out he could move elsewhere.
Chalobah has been on loan at six different clubs in the past few years after failing to hit the ground running at Stamford Bridge.
But under Antonio Conte he has been given a chance to impress and finally earned his first start for the club in Wednesday's EFL Cup defeat to West Ham.
And if it doesn’t work at Chelsea, it will maybe work somewhere else.
And the 21-year-old, who has represented England at youth level, believes it's the right time for him to push on and earn regular game time in west London.
Chalobah told the Daily Star: “In terms of me getting a chance now, it is right place, right time but you have always got to keep the mentality the same and always try and work to improve yourself.
“Right place, right time, right manager and you never know what might happen. Just don’t give up and keep going.

Conte said: “I think this cup is very important to check the development of these young players. We have good young players and they need to play.”
