The French striker is yet to appear for the Gunners in this campaign and is seemingly surplus to requirements at the Emirates.
He spent the first half of last season on loan at Ajax but made just five appearances and failed to score.
Sanogo's loan was cut short in January and he was sent to Charlton where he scored a hat-trick in a 3–4 defeat against Reading.
And according to Italian outlet Calciomercato, the 23-year-old is being offered an escape route back to France.
