MESUT OZIL volleyed a winner to help Arsenal move level with Manchester City at the top of the Premier League yesterday but they were made to sweat by a spirited Swansea performance.

And Gunners boss Arsene Wenger admitted it had been rather too close for comfort.
Ozil’s 57th-minute strike followed a first-half double by Theo Walcott but Wenger was left biting his nails when Gonzalez Tomas narrowed the deficit before Granit Xhaka was red-carded with 20 minutes left.

He said: “We’ve just got over the line today.
“We twice lost our focus when 2-0 up and then when were 3-1 up but in the end we’ve made it and I’m pleased.
“We should have scored more goals.
“Theo got two but could have had a hat-trick or even four.”
New Swansea boss Bob Bradley was upbeat despite the defeat leaving his side second-bottom.
He said: “That was an exciting game that didn’t finish the way I would have wanted. But we also showed how well we can play.”
