Gordon Strachan: Scotland players regard Darren Fletcher as one of the all-time greatest
DARREN FLETCHER is already considered an all-time Scotland great by his team-mates.

Fletcher will win his 75th cap in tonight’s must-win World Cup clash against Lithuania.
Only Kenny Dalglish, Jim Leighton, Alex McLeish and Paul McStay have won more Scotland caps than the West Brom ace.
And while Fletcher – unlike the four legends ahead of him on the list – has never been to a major finals, Gordon Strachan believes the man he trusts to lead the current group towards Russia 2018 is regarded by his peers as a Scotland legend.
Asked if Fletcher deserves to be called an all-time great, the Scotland boss said: “I will leave that to other people to decide but I am just glad he is here. He is a great player, but he is a great lad and that is the most important thing.
“There are examples out there and it is which ones you choose.”
Strachan faces a dilemma over which players to leave out of his starting side for tonight’s Group F clash.
Chris Martin and Steven Fletcher are vying for a starting role at striker, while Kieran Tierney and Andy Robertson are battling to secure the left-back slot.
Strachan must also consider if fit-again James McArthur and an on-form James Forrest can find a place in the team ahead of the likes of Matt Ritchie and Barry Bannan, who played so well in Malta.
Gordon Greer, however, is a doubt after failing to make training yesterday.
