Arsenal were repeatedly linked with the Spain international in the off-season, while Spanish newspaper AS Diario claim Tottenham made a loan move for his services on deadline day.
But when asked by Marca whether he considered leaving, he said: "Not really, I have two years left on my Real contract.
"The club said nothing and I never looked for anything to leave."
The Mirror have since reported that Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is keen on landing him in January to add more creativity to his squad.
While the 24-year-old has suggested he wants to see out the remaining two years of his Real contract, he has refused to comment on a potential new deal.

Questioned about a possible renewal, he added: "I don't know, the truth is that I have not yet thought about it, nor have they asked me to renew, so I am calm.
"I take it day by day, which is important."
