"When I played (against Slovakia), I thoroughly enjoyed the week-and-a-bit we spent together.
John Stones played 11 games for the England senior side
"Sam was excited to work with all the boys. It was a relief as well when we got the win, we were happy for everyone, him included.
"And after the game there was a good celebration. I'm sad to see him go and wish him all the best."
