The Merseysider's have impressively got through a tough beginning to the season with wins over Arsenal, Chelsea and Leicester.
And last weekend they were in scintillating form as they beat Hull City 5-1 at Anfield.
When asked on BT Sport if Jurgen Klopp's side can win the title, Scholes said: "They do to me."

He added: "I was a little bit worried about them defensively but you have to say the attacking qualities they are showing at the minute, they look like they are going to score goals against anybody."
But after showering Liverpool with praise, Scholes quickly said: "I hope they don't."
