FC Zorya Luhansk, to give them their full name, are one of Ukraine's eastern most football teams. In fact, they are so close to the Russian border that they currently play their home games further west in Zaporizhia, not far from Dnipro.
The origins of the club, like many sides in former Soviet countries, lie in a team formed for the workers at a locomotive factory in the city of Luhansk.
They took their current form in 1964 after a merger with a local trade union sports society but the side has had their name, which means 'dawn', since 1960.

"The Ukrainian team, I don't have a vision of them or their qualities," admitted Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho, following the draw.
Goalkeeper Oleh Chuvaev had a somewhat different opinion.
"Before this, we only watched the Champions League and Europa League on TV, but now we are involved - it's all been worth it," Chuvaev said.
