Chelsea midfielder makes Premier League Golden Boot claim
MIKEL JOHN OBI has joked he's targeting the Premier League Golden Boot with Chelsea this season.
Mikel John Obi has celebrated the three-year anniversary of his only goal for Chelsea
Mikel is not known for his goalscoring prowess and has managed just one in 247 league outings for the Blues.
No outfield player has made more appearances in the Premier League before scoring their first goal than Mikel.
And the Nigeria international seems proud of that fact, celebrating the three-year anniversary of his landmark goal on twitter.
"Three years ago today...my first @ChelseaFC PL goal in the West London derby. Now for the Golden Boot," he tweeted.

The midfielder's goal was the first in a 2-0 win over local rivals Fulham in the 2013/14 season.
However, it may very well be the 29-year-old's last for Chelsea after he admitted this week he is considering calling time on his Stamford Bridge career.

"When you have a year left, in January, you are allowed to talk to other clubs and sign a pre-contract or have an agreement so, yes, I will talk to other clubs because you never know what is going to happen," Mikel said.
"This season is the last at the club if my contract ends. I am quite relaxed about it, the future looks good."
