Mikel John Obi makes shock revelation about Chelsea new boy Michy Batshuayi
MIKEL JOHN OBI has revealed Chelsea new boy Michy Batshuayi is not much of a talker.
Michy Batshuayi - 5 things you need to know
Batshuayi joined the Blues in July from French side Marseille and has since performed well as understudy to Diego Costa.
The Belgium international has scored three goals in five appearances and team-mate Mikel has admitted he's been impressed by the 22-year-old.
However, the Nigeria star has revealed that while Batshuyai is an imposing figure on the field, in the dressing room he's more of a shrinking violet.
“He has started well, he looks to me, like a great, great prospect for Chelsea," Mikel told website Goal.
"Michy is a great guy. He is a quiet guy who doesn’t really speak much, but he is a great guy.
"He is a strong player who is powerful and has scored one or two goals this season.”
Mikel John Obi says Michy Batshuayi is a quiet character
Mikel's comments about Batshuayi's quiet nature seem to contradict the striker's persona on Twitter, where he's become quite a hit with the Chelsea fans.
The forward jokingly trolled EA Sports this week after he was disappointed with his passing rating on the new Fifa 17 video game.
