Manchester United are ready to pay a world-record fee to sign the Juventus star.
Reports in Italy claim United are 'within hours' of sealing a deal to bring Pogba back, after he left on a free transfer four years ago.
But Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has refused to rule out a move for the 23-year-old, suggesting the Spanish giants could hijack United's move.
Despite the immense speculation around his future, Pogba himself appears not to be getting involved.
Last night the France international posted a picture in the Everglades in Florida where he was doing some casual alligator spotting.
And this morning Adidas released an advert-style GIF on Twitter involving Pogba.
In the clip he is holding a fake newspaper and shaking his head says: "Don't believe everything you read in the papers."
The comment adds: "Ignore the blah, blah, blah. #FirstNeverFollows"
A week ago Pogba's agent Mino Raiola tweeted: "There is no deal done regarding Paul Pogba, lots of bla bla bla."
While Pogba's future looks uncertain, the bookies reckon he is heading back to Old Trafford.
He is priced at 8/15 with SkyBet and 1/4 with Betfair to be a United player after the end of the summer transfer window.
