United are determined to sign 23-year-old Pogba this summer.
Juventus have already rejected an £85million bid from United, who are now said to have upped their offer to £92m.
Allegri remains hopeful the midfielder will snub a move and remain at Serie A champions Juve for the upcoming season.
Juve have already signed four players this summer and are poised to land Gonzalo Higuain from Napoli in a £78m deal.
Higuain supposedly had a medical over the weekend and the two clubs are now negotiating payment methods over the deal.
As for United, their pursuit of former player Pogba is said to include a further £8.4m in add-ons.
The Guardian claim Juventus have informed United of their valuation of Pogba, who is expected to earn £11m a season if he rejoins the Old Trafford club.
