The Serie A champions have already signed four big-name players this summer, with Napoli's Gonzalo Higuain poised to become their fifth arrival.
Higuain's proposed £78million switch could be concluded today after he reportedly underwent a medical in Turin.
And Juventus are not stopping there after reports emerged suggesting that they are determined to land Witsel.
United have already had an £85m bid for Pogba rejected but Juve are demanding closer to £100m.
Tuttosport claim Juve's squad rebuilding process will continue but requires the cash injection of Pogba's sale to balance the books.
Juve will not offer a 'discount' on the France international, it is claimed, and are aware of Real Madrid's rival interest.

Witsel is seen as a candidate to replace Pogba in Juve's midfield, with Roma's Miralem Pjanic and Marko Pjaca of Dinamo Zagreb also arriving to strengthen that position.
As for United, their pre-season friendly with Manchester City in Beijing was cancelled today due to the weather conditions making the pitch unplayable.
United lost their opening tour game 4-1 to German side Borussia Dortmund last week.
