FIORENTINA are considering a loan move for Liverpool winger Lazar Markovic, according to reports.
Liverpool's Most Expensive Transfers
The 22-year-old spent last season on loan at Fenerbahce, but only made 18 appearances during an injury-hit spell in Istanbul.
He has returned to Liverpool this summer - featuring in their 5-0 pre-season win over Fleetwood - but question marks still remain over his future.
Fiorentina are reportedely interested in signing Liverpool winger Lazar Markovic
And now Italian newspaper Gazetta dello Sport claim Fiorentina are the latest club to show an interest in the former Benfica man.
Gazetta dello Sport say the Serie A side are hoping to sign Markovic on a season-long loan with a view to making this a permanent deal at the end of the 2016/17 season, for around £8million (10m euros).
The Italian outfit are said to be close to re-signing Cristian Tello from Barcelona and are keen to bolster their ranks further by bringing in Markovic ahead of the new season.
Markovic signed for Liverpool from Benfica for £20m in 2014 and has made 35 appearances for the club.
